Floatworks Forest Achievements
Over 15,000 trees planted in 6 months
We are so excited to announce that we have just hit a milestone with our environmental campaign. As of the 1st March 2022, we have now planted over 15,000 trees on behalf of our customers through our ‘One Float = One Tree Planted’ pledge. This is an incredible achievement for us. The Floatworks team are extremely proud of what we have been able to accomplish, especially since our initiative only started 6 months ago in September 2021. We are so thankful to our amazing customers, members and community for helping us achieve this.
As many of you may already know, for every float purchased we plant one tree in honour of our customers. We have always been passionate about giving back and continuing to be a carbon negative business whilst sharing the benefits of floating. This pledge supports global sustainability.
Since joining the Eden Reforestation Project we have been overwhelmed by the work that they are doing and feel very proud to be a part of it. We initially started supporting the Eden Projects in Madagascar and Nepal, planting over 15,000 trees and offsetting almost 900 tonnes of CO2. Since then we have expanded to start supporting the Eden Project in Indonesia - a new partnership with Tree-Nation that started in December 2021.
In highly undeveloped areas, people have very few opportunities to work and support their families. As a consequence, they are forced to destroy their local environment to use as fuel and heat sources in order to merely survive. The two main solutions are as follows:
– Hire local people to plant trees so they can provide for their families and help their children to go to schools.
– As trees are planted, healthy forests start to emerge, and deforestation begins to disappear.

We have now graduated to a Tree Partner level and are excited to take you along on this journey with us. We will now be able to share further information with our community and audience with progression planting photos as well as more in-depth reporting information.
Planting trees saves lives, so this campaign means a lot to Floatworks and the team as a whole. We want to document the achievement we have made in only 6 months and take the opportunity to say thank you to our loyal customers. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.
