Description
Craniosacral therapy is a hands-on technique involving gentle manipulation of the bones in the skull, and nerve endings in the scalp. It is used to assess and enhance the functioning of the craniosacral system. The practitioner is able to “listen” with their hands to what is called the cranial rhythmic impulse, which runs throughout our bodies. They then very gently move the bones of the skull in order to remove restrictions in the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, relieving stress, decreasing pain, and enhancing the body’s overall health.
