i just had my second float, which was AMAZING!
my first float was pretty good, but i moved about too much, touched my face and got salty water in my eyes. Also, i found it hard to really trust the water and relax my head enough, so i ended up with a bit of stiffness in my neck.
However, the second time my experience was very different. i knew the score with moving about or touching myself (oo-er!), so avoided making my eyes sting.
More importantly, my body seemed to relax much more quickly than the first time, and much more deeply. Especially my neck. i really trusted that the water would hold my weight, and really gave myself to it.
The effect was unbelievable! i felt the bones in my neck separate, making such beautiful noises under the water - a very high pitched 'chinking' sound for some reason which made me think of melting icebergs.
I felt so relaxed after the session. i just thought it was worth mentioning that for me it took a bit of practice before i got the most out of the float.
i wonder how much deeper i can go? greatly looking forward to my next time...
